Strasuberg owns an area of 118 ha for business and industry ground and properties which do offer a great perspective for investments now or in the future. The major place therefore is the "Gewerbepark Strausberg-Nord" (Business Park Strausberg-North) which is develloping every day since the opening on the 28.02.1993. Main companies are local firms working on crafts, production an service as well as the future branches..

The area of the Kastanienallee is the place for most older companies. But there are still a lot of resources for an intensive use. A lot of other places in the city are offered for investment to any branches. The areas for buisiness use are are supposed to be enlarged to 190 ha. for further use, giving a new perspective to greater companies. There are special areas surrounding the airfield Strausberg for companies which do need the connection by plane.
